President of Eurasia drilling company Alexander Bogachev plans to participate in the conference “Oilfield Services in Russia” (Neftegazservis-2007) that will be held in Moscow on October 10. Neftegazservis conference is a traditional forum for executives of oilfield services companies and their customers, such as ТNК-BP, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Gazpromneft, Surgutneftegaz and other oil producing holdings. The event will be attended by representatives of Russian Energy Agency and Federal Service of Environmental, Technical and Atomic Supervision, who will focus on government policies in respect to the oilfield services sector; by heads of major oilfield services companies operating in the Russian market and suppliers of drilling, geophysical and oilfield service equipment. Conference participants will have an opportunity to establish new business ties, exchange ideas on the oilfield services market situation, discuss issues that arise in the course of interaction between oil companies and their contractors. OOO “Drilling Company “Eurasia” is Russia’s largest drilling company that for 11 years has been involved in oil and gas well construction and workover in license areas of ОАО NK “LUKOIL”, ОАО “Gazpromneft”, ТNК-ВР and other oil and gas companies. Production facilities of Eurasia are located in five regions of the country: West-Siberia, Ural, Lower Volga, Komi Republic and Nenets Autonomous District. The company employs 37 rig-up crews, 90 drilling crews, 76 completion and workover crews. The company operates more than 180 drilling rigs with load capacity of 75 to 450 tons, more than 100 workover rigs. Over the past five years, Eurasia has expanded its drilling operations from 1,2 million meters to 2,5 million meters per year, increasing its RF market share from 13 to 20%. Meterage drilled in 2006 was up 47% from 2005, the number of wells commissioned in 2006 increased 32% compared to 2005. The company has drilled 2,5 million meters of rock. 856 wells have been commissioned to oil and gas companies, 2390 capital workovers and 1950 current workovers have been performed.
