ТNК-BP President: I was happy to hear there would be no drastic changes in Government’s economic policies

President of the Russian Federation met with representatives of Russian and international companies in Sochi on September 21 within the framework of the international investment forum “Kuban-2007”. After the meeting, ТNК-BP president and CEO Robert Dudley commented, “I was happy to hear there would be no drastic changes in the government’s economic policies. This is very important for business in terms of long-term investment decision making”. 27 representatives of the Russian business community attended the meeting with RF president, including Alexander Abramov (EvrasGroup), Musa Bazhaev (Alliance Group), Vladimir Bogdanov (Surgutneftegaz), Viktor Vekselberg (Renova), Oleg Vyugin (МDМ-Bank), Filaret Galchev (Eurocement Group), Sergey Generalov (Industry Investors), Alexander Gnusarev (“United Industrial Corporation), Robert Dudley (ТNК-BP), Oleg Deripaska (Basic Element), Vladimir Dmitriev (Vneshekonombank), Andrey Donskikh (Uralsib), Vladimir Evtushenkov (AFK “Sistema”), Alexander Izosimov (Vympelkom), Andrey Kazmin (Sberbank), Andrey Kozitsin (Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company), Andrey Kostin (VТB), Vladimir Lisin (Novolipetsky Metallurgical Enterprise), Denis Morozov (Norilsky Nickel), Vladimir Potanin (Interros), Dmitry Pumpyansky (Tubular Metallurgical Company), Rustam Tariko (Russian Standard), Sergey Frank (Sovkomflot), Anatoly Chubais (EES of Russia), Alexander Shokhin (RSPP), David Yakobashvili (Will Bill Dann), Vladimir Yakunin (Russian Railways). The meeting was also attended by aide to RF president Alexander Abramov, presidential plenipotentiary envoy to the Southern Federal District Dmitry Kozak, acting vice-premier Sergey Ivanov, Krasnodar Terrioty governor Alexander Tkachev, acting minister of economic development and trade German Gref.
