Norway’s minister of oil and power engineering Odd Roger Enoxen has resigned. Mr. Enoxen left of his own accord. The name of his successor has been announced. Norwegian mass media reported earlier that Enoxen would be replaced in the Cabinet by the leader of Norway’s Centre Party Oslaug Haga. Minister of oil and power engineering is a key post in the Norwegian government. Norway is the world’s fifth oil exporter and the largest natural gas supplier to Western Europe. Over the last months of his office Mr. Enoxen controlled preparation for the merger of the country’s leading energy companies Norsk Hydro and Statoil aimed at creation of a competitive energy group in the global market.Предложить новость
