Former employees of the Department of the shipbuilding industry and marine equipment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade sentenced to seven years in prison

The Presnensky District Court of Moscow sentenced former employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to seven years in a strict regime colony /a> and Andrey Bandurov. Both were found guilty of accepting a bribe for obtaining a license from Technological Systems and Technologies. for the production, development and disposal of weapons, ammunition and military equipment. This was a retrial of the criminal case: earlier, the court reclassified the crime imputed to the defendants from a bribe to a milder fraud, however, this decision was overturned by the court of appeal.
As previously reported by “Kommersant”, Andrey Bandurov, a leading specialist of the Department of State Defense Order and Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Department of Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and consultant of the department, Soslan Geriev, were detained by the FSB in 2021 . The operation was carried out by the department "P" (supervises industry) of the department's economic security services.
