In the Russian fuel and energy complex, it is necessary to develop an industry classifier of construction information
18.05.2023
For a full-fledged information modeling of fuel and energy complex (FEC) facilities, the scientific and technical community needs to develop an industry classifier of construction information, said Alexei Serebryakov, head of the Engineering Center and deputy head of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, speaking on May 17, 2023 at the scientific and practical conference "Information modeling in the design and construction of oil and gas facilities.
"A multiple increase in the amount of information can lead to information chaos. Therefore, the main task today – develop unified technical and methodological approaches to the development and filling of information models in order to reach a consensus of all participants in this process, including expert organizations, – said the rector of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkina Viktor Martynov.
Representatives of Glavgosexpertiza analyzed the experience of evaluating information models and spoke about the current tasks in the formation of a regulatory framework in the field of information modeling. Starting from 2020, the department has been conducting state expertise of information models in parallel with the classical project documentation. this is the future to which we aspire together, – noted Alexey Serebryakov.
In general, for the period 2022-2023. The institution considered more than 80 projects in the TIM format with various functional purposes. At the same time, in each case, developers of three-dimensional models use various software products and computer-aided design tools.
that is, the ability to work with all provided models. And for this we need to have a consistent and highly developed composition of the attributive elements of the digital model, as well as unified design solutions and secure software, used for their development», – emphasized Alexey Serebryakov.
The speaker also noted the need to develop a local building information classifier (CSI) for fuel and energy facilities, which will allow obtaining more complete information models and improving the quality of coding its elements . The proposal was included in the draft resolution of the conference.
Dmitry Sinitsyn, Head of the Department for Engineering Support of Investment Projects of the Engineering Center of Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, also made a presentation.
He spoke about the practice of creating open data models using the examples of oil and gas industry objects: «
