Gazprombank will have a new subdivision with the functions of a pricing agency, which will form price indices for Russian export goods in accordance with international performance standards. About this "Vedomosti" said a source familiar with the bank's plans. According to him, the range of goods will be built in accordance with the demand of participants in the commodity markets. A representative of Gazprombank confirmed this information.
The basis for calculating quotes for the – collection of information on market transactions, which corresponds to the practices of world price agencies, the representative of the bank specified. The center has been operating in pilot mode since September 2022, he added. Now the indices are calculated for coal, methanol, rates for gondola cars.
