"Power Machines" intend to hold consultations in the near future with the German concern Siemens on servicing gas turbines of the joint venture of both companies - Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies; (STGT). This was reported to TASS by a representative of a Russian company.
"We are planning to hold consultations on GHT with German partners in the joint venture in the near future, taking into account the need for service support for gas turbines in operation," he said.
this "Power Machines" are focused on the production of gas turbines of their own design. Currently, the company is working on the creation of two domestic gas turbines - GTE-170 and GTE-65. Currently, six GTE-170 turbines are in production and a prototype GTE-65.1 has been launched, the representative of the company said.
At the same time, an own foundry complex for the production of turbine blade castings is being created, he added.
The German concern Siemens 12 May 2022 announced that he would leave the Russian market amid the events in Ukraine. In 2018, the Siemens concern celebrated its 165th anniversary in Russia.
