German Gref did not come to the meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Energy of Russia

A regular meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of Russia took place in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The event was hosted by Deputy Chairman of the Council, Rector of the National Research University "MPEI" Nikolai Rogalev, with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the executive secretary of the Public Council, General Director of the REA of the Ministry of Energy of Russia Alexei Kulapin.

The key topics of discussion were the results of the work of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the fuel and energy sectors 2021, as well as reports on the implementation of activities by the department in the past year, provided by the Anti-Corruption Plan for 2021 – 2024 and the concept of openness. Pavel Sorokin, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Secretary of State – Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Anastasia Bondarenko and Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Evgeny Grabchak.

Consideration of these issues ensures that the Public Council implements the functions of public control over the activities of the federal executive body and evaluate its performance.

All three topics generated a lively discussion among the participants of the session. As a result of the discussion, unanimous decisions were made to approve the work carried out by the Russian Ministry of Energy.

Also during the meeting, Alexey Kulapin noted that, on the recommendation of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, a decision was made to create an official Telegram - the channel of the advisory body of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and its public page on the VKontakte social network. Social networks will be maintained by the office of the Public Council of the department, functioning in the REA of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
