Shipbuilding complex "Zvezda" – a strategically important project for the Far East region and the domestic shipbuilding industry, which is being implemented on behalf of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation by the Consortium of JSC "Rosneftegaz", PJSC "NK" Rosneft "; and JSC "Gazprombank". The construction project of the SSC "Zvezda" implemented in several stages. Production activities are already underway at ready-made facilities – hull production block, in painting booths, on a heavy outfitting slipway, in a block assembly shop and in a dry dock. The second phase provides for the commissioning of full-cycle production workshops for the production of large-capacity vessels and marine equipment, in the future plans – introduction of production workshops for the construction of offshore marine equipment. Phased commissioning of the entire production complex of the SSK Zvezda will be completed by the end of 2024.
Zvezda – Russia's first shipyard of large-capacity shipbuilding, able to meet the needs of Russian customers in the construction of marine equipment to ensure the extraction of natural resources on the country's continental shelf. Including drilling platforms that have the ability to operate year-round in the Arctic, as well as commercial ships for transporting goods along internal and external sea routes, tankers of the Aframax type, running on gas fuel and meeting all the latest environmental standards.
Pilot loading of the complex is provided by PJSC NK Rosneft, which has concluded a contract with JSC DTSSS an exclusive agreement on the placement of all orders for the construction of new marine equipment and vessels at its facilities, as well as design contracts, construction and delivery of multifunctional ice-class reinforced supply vessels, Aframax-type tankers, Arctic ice-class Arc7 shuttle tankers, an Arctic shuttle tanker with a deadweight of 69,000 tons and a drilling vessel. Additional orders received from Rosmorport, Sovcomflot; and Gazprom, Atomflot.
