Rosgeo applied for money to the Ministry of Industry and Trade

State holding "Rosgeologiya" plans to approve in May 2022 a map of strategic initiatives necessary for the development of the company in the face of sanctions. This was told to journalists on April 11 by the general director of "Rosgeologiya" Sergei Gorkov. According to him, this development program involves both import substitution of equipment for geological exploration (GE) and entry into new markets in Asia and Africa. Gorkov recalled that due to political tensions related to the events in Ukraine, the company lost two contracts in Europe – for work in the North and Mediterranean Seas.

Based on the results of technological stress testing conducted in February, according to Gorkov, dependence was revealed on 1,100 positions of imported equipment, primarily on imported components for domestic equipment, as well as foreign software.
