Mikhail Mishustin: Our country has always had the strongest engineering school

The Federal Center will support the creation of advanced engineering schools based on the country's leading universities, which will develop a new type of engineering training and provide breakthrough research and development. The resolution approving the rules for providing grants for these purposes was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Universities that pass a competitive selection will be able to count on such support. It will be conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science. Grants will be allocated for the creation of advanced engineering schools, the organization of internships and practices for students with mentors from state corporations and high-tech companies, as well as for the retraining of teachers. The maximum grant amount will be 1 billion rubles.
