Shutdown of the Komatsu plant and the impact on oil and gas construction in Russia

Komatsu has suspended deliveries to Russia and production in Russia. Due to the situation in Ukraine, the disruption in Komatsu's supply chain remains severe and the impact on the financial and economic situation remains uncertain. Komatsu has made the decision to suspend our deliveries to Russia amid supply chain confusion and uncertain financial and economic conditions. Komatsu has currently suspended deliveries and production at its manufacturing facility in Russia.
Komatsu Manufacturing Rus — construction equipment factory a subsidiary of the Japanese engineering company Komatsu in the Russian city of Yaroslavl, opened in 2010. The plant became Komatsu's first assembly plant in Russia and the company's 25th plant in the world. Its area is 50.2 thousand m2. The plant has become the first foreign enterprise in Russia that performs a full cycle of assembly of construction equipment. The plant manufactures PC200, PC220, PC300, PC400 hydraulic excavators and HD785 mining dump trucks. For the training of specialists and conducting practical classes for students on the basis of the Yaroslavl State Technical University, the company «Komatsu» a training center was opened.
On May 26, 2022, the XI Conference " Construction in the oil and gas complex" (NEFTEGAZSTROY - 2022), where they will discuss the provision of oil and gas construction projects with modern equipment, in particular, excavators.
