The government will support contractors in the field of public procurement

By Decree No. 340 of March 10, 2022, the Government of the Russian Federation makes the procedure for writing off fines and penalties from contractors who have violated obligations under a state or municipal contract due to external sanctions indefinite. The resolution to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The decision was made to support participants in the public procurement contract system.

According to the decision, in order to write off penalties and fines, it will be enough for the contractor to provide the state customer with a written justification confirming the violation of obligations due to external sanctions, with documents attached, if any.< /p>
