The government will coordinate the creation of Russian electricity storage systems

Russia will have its own technologies and systems for energy storage.

The Government of the Russian Federation and the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" signed an agreement of intent to develop this area ;. On February 28, the Government issued a corresponding order No. 356-r on signing the agreement.

"Interaction between the Government and “Rosatom” is aimed at achieving Russia's leading position in the global technological markets for energy storage systems, including portable ones. To achieve this goal, a “roadmap” will be developed, providing for the relevant target indicators of technological development and an action plan to achieve them, – said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
