LLC "Gazstroyprom" introduces welding installations of its own design at the facilities

Compactness, minimal costs for the delivery and deployment of equipment, and most importantly – more than four times the output per welder compared to conventional manual arc welding. Here are the key advantages of PMU-700 and PMU-1400 automatic welding machines developed by GSP-Technologies LLC. Last autumn, one of these multifunctional field plants was successfully introduced at the Kovykta field and showed its best side, increasing productivity and significantly improving the quality of welded joints. In February, similar units were mastered and put into operation at CS-5 Nagornaya. main gas pipeline "Power of Siberia" and the Kharasavey gas condensate field in Yamal.
At Kharasavey, the creators of the PMU had to solve a difficult task: to ensure the welding of two-pipe sections with external thermal insulation. For this, changes were made to the PMU-700 design, which made it possible to work with pipes without damaging the heat-insulating coating, and not only with individual sections, but also with connections of pipeline units.
at CS-1 "Saldykelskaya" MG "Power of Siberia" – as follows from the name, it, unlike PMU-700, allows welding of pipeline assemblies with a nominal diameter of up to 1400 mm and a wall thickness of up to 32 mm. Next in line – Bovanenkovskoye and Chayandinskoye deposits.
