Ural Turbine Works will supply PJSC "Quadra - Power Generation" three T-130 turbines

09.03.2022

Ural Turbine Works has signed a contract for the supply of three T-130 turbines for the implementation of CDA-bar projects at the stations of PJSC "Quadra - Power Generation". Turbines T-130/145-12.8 will be supplied to Smolenskaya CHPP-2, the first unit – in the 3rd quarter of 2022, the second – in the 2nd quarter of 2023, the T-130/150-12.8 turbine for the Tambov CHPP is planned to be manufactured and shipped in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
worked out the deadlines for their service. Due to the replacement of equipment, the installed electric capacity of Smolenskaya CHPP-2 will increase by 16% to 320 MW, and thermal — by 3% to 774 Gcal/h. The most powerful turbine unit of the station will be replaced at the Tambovskaya CHPP, as a result, the electric capacity of the facility will increase to 255 MW (+ 8%), thermal — up to 959 Gcal/h (+ 2%). Modernization of the station equipment will ensure the reliability of the energy systems of these regions, increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the stations in the wholesale energy market.
. A significant increase in installed capacity is possible by optimizing the entire blade apparatus of the flow path with an increase in the efficiency of power generation. In the turbine, in addition to the organization of regulated heat extraction, extractions are also organized, which fully meet the needs of the stations with steam. It is worth noting that this modern modification of turbines will increasingly appear at the upgraded Russian stations.
Today, UTZ participates in many projects for the modernization of the country's energy sector within the framework of the DPM-stroke. At various stages of manufacture or installation of turbine units for companies: T Plus, Mosenergo, TGK-1, SGK, LUKOIL, NHRS and a number of others.
