INTI approved the standard IIOGT M.00.1-2021 "Manufacturing and quality control of steel building structures"

In November last year, the Materials Committee of INTI (Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Initiatives) completed the procedure for reviewing, expert voting and approving the IIOGT M.00.1-2021 standard "Manufacturing and quality control of steel building structures".

The experts worked out all the comments of the oil and gas community and approved the standard by the order of INTI General Director Khaleeva I.L. To date, the INTI IIOGT M.00.1-2021 standard "Manufacturing and quality control of steel building structures" translated into English, and is in the process of approval by leading foreign oil and gas companies.

The standard establishes rules for prefabrication and quality control of steel building structures of buildings and structures for industrial, public and residential purposes, including light metal structures made of thin-walled bent profiles. It regulates the certification procedure and the criteria for its successful completion, compliance with the technological chain of production at the certified plant, quality control of raw materials and products.

The adoption of the INTI IIOGT M.00.1-2021 standard leads to a unified certification procedure for metal structures plants for all participants in the oil and gas industry, and reduces their financial and time costs as a customer, and the contractor, facilitates audits in preparation for tenders. The fact that the metal structures plant has an INTI M.00.1-2021 attestation certificate (STO РђР РЎРЎ 11251254.001-018-5) indicates that the business processes and product quality at the time of the certification correspond to the industry's request.

The oil and gas industry has a mechanism to separate high-quality plants from low-quality ones. Carrying out certification of the enterprise does not require any additional costs either from manufacturers or from customers. ​​​​​​​​​The experience of the Association in conducting attestations and the application of the standard in practice made it possible to create a package of documents for INTI that meets the requirements of all market players oil and gas industry.
