Innovative development program of Transneft for the period up to 2026

Board of Directors of PJSC "Transneft" On January 26, 2022, approved the Innovative Development Program of PJSC Transneft; for the period up to 2026, developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The program was pre-approved by the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East and was approved at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Technological Development under the Government Commission for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development of Russia.
The program was developed based on the results of an independent technological audit. The approved document retained significant continuity with a similar program that was in effect from 2017 to 2021. Its implementation, according to the data of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, ensured that 99% of the groups of technological solutions used by the company correspond to the world level or exceed it.
As a result, the company, within the framework of the approved program, will focus on R&D and innovative projects aimed at maintaining a high level of technological development and continuing to master its own production. The program provides for measures to monitor technological trends in Russia and abroad, approbation of new most economically and technologically efficient technical solutions, including alternative sources of heat/natural lighting, aerospace profiling (interferometry) methods, technical solutions based on robotic systems. The program includes a number of innovative projects and activities of the Digital Transformation Strategy of PJSC Transneft; in the field of digitalization of production processes and the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
