"NaftaGaz" and "Uralmash NGO Holding" signed a contract for the supply of a drilling rig BU 6000/400 with increased payload capacity, which is made in a block-modular design with a two-tier arrangement of blocks. It has an electric frequency-controlled AC drive with a digital control system, designed for the climatic conditions of the Far North and is intended for cluster drilling of production wells for oil and gas with a nominal depth of up to 6000 m.
The document was signed by the CEO of NaftaGaz Islam Nazaraliev and General Director of "Uralmash NGO Holding" Yuri Karpov. The transfer of the drilling rig to the customer is planned for September 2022
Commenting on the signing of the contract, Islam Nazaraliev noted that this was a serious step for both enterprises and expressed confidence in the success of all stages of implementation of the project - from the production of the drilling rig itself, to its operation, since Uralmash is the quality you trust.
In response, Yuri Karpov said that NaftaGaz had market reputation as a rapidly growing, promising company" and assured that Uralmash will make every effort so that this project is successfully brought to the drilling site, and then new tasks will be set for the holding.

Nowadays, oil and gas wells are becoming deeper and more complex, which is why customers set high demands on drilling rigs. As one of the leading independent drilling contractors in Russia, NaftaGaz strives to meet these requests.
At present, NaftaGaz implements projects at oil and gas fields in Yamal and KhMAO for customers PJSC "Gazprom Neft", PJSC "NK" Rosneft, the Gazprom group, and is also considering the projects of NOVATEK. Other large oil companies also have a request for the appropriate lifting capacity.
