Rosneft will build a pipeline for the Vostok Oil project
25.11.2021
"Rosneft" completes complex engineering surveys and starts construction of facilities for the oil transportation system of the Vostok Oil project. The oil pipeline will connect the fields of the Vankor and Payakh clusters with the oil loading terminal under construction at the port of Sever Bay. The total length of the oil pipeline system will be about 770 km. The necessary pressure for pumping oil will be provided by 7 oil pumping stations (OPS).
To create the oil pipeline system of the new project, the existing oil transportation facilities of the Vankor cluster will be reconstructed and new ones will be built on the Taimyr Peninsula. At present, the boundaries of the new pipeline, its route, the location of capital construction projects have already been determined, the necessary design and technological solutions have been developed and approved. More than 6,000 piles were made for the installation of supports for the new oil pipeline system.
Suzun – Vankor, about 100 km long. Besides, to increase the throughput capacity between the Vankor and Suzun fields up to 18 million tons of oil per year, a new Vankor oil pipeline will be built; Suzun» 85 km long and a new PS.
a tank farm will be built, from which commercial oil will be reloaded onto tankers of high ice class Arc7 - for transportation along the Northern Sea Route to European and Asian markets.
During the construction of facilities "East Oil" unique technologies will be used, including environmental technologies, which have proven their effectiveness in the Vankors cluster.
Since May of this year, in the "Bay Sever" hundreds of thousands of tons of various cargoes were delivered, including pipe products, metal structures, construction equipment, car-houses.
