Gazprombank and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic held a working meeting, during which a memorandum of cooperation was signed to introduce banking support for contracts in the implementation of government projects and programs. The document was signed by the Executive Vice President – Oleg Melnikov, Head of the Contracts Banking Department, and Almaz Baketaev, Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. The signing ceremony was held during a working meeting of the Bank's management with a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov.
The signed memorandum is aimed at developing partnerships in the field of contract banking and its application in the field of public procurement in the Kyrgyz Republic. To this end, a joint working group will be created to coordinate the implementation of the key points of the memorandum. Within the framework of cooperation, the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic will involve the leading credit institutions of the country to exchange experience and interact with Gazprombank. In addition, the parties intend to organize a number of seminars and conferences with representatives of the business community of the Kyrgyz Republic to promote the product "Banking contract support".
