Angarsk petrochemical complex started installation of unique equipment for primary oil refining

"Angarsk petrochemical company", which is part of the oil refining unit of NK "Rosneft", has begun installation of unique large-sized equipment – main distillation column at the catalytic cracking unit. Its weight is 220 tons, height is 47 m. a subsidiary of ANHK.

В«RosneftВ» is implementing an unprecedented program to modernize its refineries. Since the beginning of the program, more than 900 billion rubles have already been invested, 23 main units were built and reconstructed, as well as oil refining complexes, which allowed the Company to significantly increase the production of grade 5 gasoline and fully meet the needs of the domestic market.

3 is designed for processing desalted oil and vacuum distillate. It allows to produce over 43 components of oil products. At maximum load, the unit processes about 520 tons of oil per hour and up to 130 tons of vacuum distillate. The equivalent of such a volume – 9 railway tanks. There is no analogue in the country capable of carrying out the primary refining process and catalytic cracking in such quantities.

The new column was delivered to the production site in parts. Within a few months, an enlarged assembly was carried out on the territory of the oil refinery. More than 700 people and 30 units of equipment were involved in the installation of new equipment.
