PJSC Slavneft-Yanos lost the trial to Rostekhnadzor

The Central Directorate of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) in August 2020 in relation to PJSC Slavneft-Yanos an on-site inspection was carried out to prevent, identify and suppress violations of industrial safety requirements during the operation of hazardous production facilities.
During the inspection activities, 42 violations were identified.
Disagreeing with the order, on October 27, 2020 PJSC Slavneft-Yanos appealed to the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow with a statement challenging it.
During the court session, it was established that the identified violations pose a threat to the safety of life and health of an indefinite circle of persons due to the fact that they encroach on the state of protection of the vital interests of the individual and society as a whole.
On January 20, 2021, the court recognized the Order of Rostekhnadzor as legal and justified, refusing PJSC Slavneft-Yanos in satisfaction of the stated requirements.
On April 19, 2021, the company filed an appeal with a higher court. On May 25, 2021, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal found no grounds for canceling the judicial act and left the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court unchanged, the appeal was dismissed.
On July 29, 2021, the Company filed a cassation appeal with the Arbitration Court of the Moscow District.
Having studied the case materials, on September 15, 2021, the Moscow District Arbitration Court upheld the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court and the decision of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal without change, the cassation appeal of PJSC "Slavneft-Yanos" without satisfaction.
