Today marks the birthday of Yuri Ivanovich Vazhenin - Member of the Federation Council, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, Representative of the legislative body of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra. Yuri Ivanovich was born on August 25, 1954 in Latvia. Graduated from the Riga Polytechnic Institute with a degree in thermal power engineering. Yuri Ivanovich began his career immediately after graduating from the university as an engineer of the main gas pipelines department in the Main Production Department of Tyumengazprom. Since 1979, having moved to Surgut, where he worked before being transferred to Moscow.
