The KONAR Industrial Group and the Chelyabinsk Forging and Pressing Plant have signed a memorandum of cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
August 5 at the Stankomash industrial park between JSC "KONAR" and PJSC "ChKPZ" represented by general directors V.V. Bondarenko and A.V. Hartung, a strategic partnership agreement was signed.
The parties agreed on a large-scale, long-term cooperation using complementary competencies to obtain a synergistic effect both for the companies themselves and for the regions of their presence.
Previously, KONAR and ChKPZ, as major employers in the Chelyabinsk region, signed an agreement in the field of personnel training.
ChKPZ and KONAR are among the leading industrial companies and have complementary competencies in many areas. ChKPZ – one of the leading enterprises in stamping and forging, KONAR occupies a leading position in the production of components and assemblies for the oil and gas industry.
Cooperation between the companies is already underway in many areas, and the memorandum will expand it. For example, factory & laquo;SKT, which is part of the KONAR Industrial Group, produces heavy forgings weighing up to 22 tons. ChKPZ, as a major manufacturer of forging and pressing equipment and die equipment, purchases a number of products from it. In parallel, there is cooperation with OOO "Forge" (Kamyshin, Volgograd Region), also part of the KONAR Industrial Group.
ChKPZ is the largest manufacturer of hot stampings weighing from 1 to 500 kg and is widely represented in the automotive industry and railway engineering. KONAR, having a fleet of HATEBUR hot stamping machines, complements the ChKPZ product line by efficiently manufacturing large batches of products weighing less than 1 kg.
For its part, KONAR is a consumer of ChKPZ products for a number of items, and can also use its competencies in the repair and modernization of equipment.
The signed agreement will allow enterprises to join forces for further development of production.< /p>
