Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Тљazyna JSC Almasadam Satkaliyev met with the President of PJSC "LUKOIL" Vagit Alekperov. During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation were discussed.

The Head of the Fund noted that, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, given in November 2020 following the results of the Council of Foreign Investors, jointly Active work is underway with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to improve the investment attractiveness of the oil and gas industry, including the development of offshore projects on the Caspian shelf.

PJSC "LUKOIL" together with NC В«KazMunayGasВ» geological study and exploration work is underway at the Zhenis offshore field, the issue of supplying oil from offshore fields to the domestic market of Kazakhstan is being worked out.

In addition, the development of a feasibility study for the Khvalynskoye and Centralnoye projects, implemented under intergovernmental agreements.

Almasadam Satkaliyev noted the high level of interaction between the companies and proposed to intensify participation in the implementation of promising petrochemical projects.< /p>

Currently, together with LUKOIL large oil and gas fields "Tengiz" are being developed; and Karachaganak, transporting oil through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. In the Almaty region in 2019, LUKOIL a plant for the production of lubricants with a capacity of 100 thousand tons per year was built.
