Employees of PJSC "RusHydro" will take part in the seminar of the Glavgosexpertiza on engineering surveys for hydraulic structures

On May 20, experts from the North Caucasus branch and the central office of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia will hold an online seminar on engineering surveys for hydraulic structures. The discussion will be useful for specialists in the field of engineering surveys, design engineers, representatives of design organizations involved in the preparation of the results of engineering-geodesic, engineering-geological, engineering-hydrometeorological and engineering-environmental surveys, including chief project engineers and construction customers.< /p>

The seminar will be opened by the head of the North Caucasian branch Gennady Kutepov. “The stability of hydraulic structures and their foundations, the strength and reliability of hydraulic structures, the durability of materials for their construction directly depend on the quality of engineering surveys and the correct development of project documentation. Our branch regularly reviews the results of engineering surveys carried out at the facilities for the reconstruction of main canals, hydroelectric facilities, reservoirs, irrigation and drainage systems for melioration in the Stavropol Territory and the republics of the North Caucasus: in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia-Alania, Karachayevo- Circassia. Taking into account this extensive experience, the speakers and participants of the seminar will be able to discuss the most problematic issues related to engineering surveys, based on the practice of examination of the results of engineering and environmental surveys, prepared for such sections of project documentation as "Measures for the protection of the environment"; and "Measures to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population".

Anna Listopad, Chief Specialist of the Department of Specialized Expertise, will touch upon aspects of engineering and hydrometeorological surveys carried out by for the construction of water management canals, reclamation systems and structures located on them. In particular, the expert will analyze the most common errors in the results of surveys submitted for examination. The moderator of the seminar - head of department Olga Basova - will talk about the features of engineering and geodetic surveys of existing hydraulic structures, including identifying the main detected errors.
