The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov previously announced the release of the first Russian electric car Zetta in the first quarter of 2020, but now the dates have been changed. In an interview TASSManturov said: "To date, the WMI code that determines the status of an automaker has been received, pre-series electric vehicles have been assembled, the stage of car certification has been completed at 70%. Pilot assembly is underway. It is clear that the pandemic has made its own adjustments to the development of the project. In addition, colleagues needed additional investment funds of about 100 million rubles. The meeting of the Expert Council of the Industrial Development Fund, within which, among other things, it is planned to consider this issue, is scheduled for the end of August. I hope that all certification procedures should be completed by the end of the year, and at the end of the year colleagues should start with a serial product."

The weight of the Zetta prototype is 820 kg, and of the future mass-produced electric car is about 500-700 kg, depending on the capacity of the batteries. The high efficiency of motor-wheels allows you to drive 200 km on batteries with a capacity of 10 kWh, and on batteries with a capacity of 32 kWh, the mileage will already be 560 km, like Tesla! The maximum speed of the funny and super economical box is up to 120 km/h.
