PJSC Gazprom continues to implement major investment projects in the YaNAO

St. Petersburg hosted a working meeting of the Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller and the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO) Dmitry Artyukhov, where the strategic nature of cooperation was discussed. Priority areas of cooperation in 2020 PJSC Gazprom and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Government are planning to enshrine in the relevant agreement, the work on which is at the final stage.
PJSC "Gazprom" continues to implement investment projects as part of the development of a major gas production center on the Yamal Peninsula. New production facilities are being prepared for commissioning at the Bovanenkovskoye field, and work is underway to develop the Kharasaveyskoye field. Besides, technical re-equipment, reconstruction and expansion of existing capacities at the fields of the Nadym-Pur-Taz region are underway.
At the meeting, joint work was considered to create an infrastructure in the region for refueling vehicles with gas motor fuel. Today, there are four gas filling facilities of Gazprom in the YaNAO, including in the cities of Novy Urengoy and Nadym. This year, the company plans to start designing the first CNG-filling compressor station in Noyabrsk.

Gazprom plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the YNAO. The company's tax payments to the regional budget in 2018 increased to RUB 62.4 billion. (in 2017 - 55.1 billion rubles). The total amount of all payments by Gazprom to the district and local budgets of the YNAO (including, in particular, funds to support the indigenous peoples of the North) amounted to 71.3 billion rubles.
