PJSC LUKOIL expands its investment program for the next few years

PJSC "LUKOIL" may be expanded over the next few years with two new projects — construction of a catalytic cracking complex at the Perm Oil Refinery (costs may exceed RUB 100 billion) and the creation of a petrochemical complex based on the Perm Oil Refinery (worth more than RUB 200 billion). The projects are currently under preparation. The implementation period is from 2020 to 2025.
PJSC «LUKOIL» not in Russia now, the company is actively developing abroad. On October 15, the company received a 5% stake in a concession on the UAE shelf for $190 million, and in the summer it closed a deal to acquire a 25% stake in a project offshore the Congo and is considering building an LNG plant onshore with local companies. However, in addition to creating a petrochemical complex on the basis of the Perm refinery "LUKOIL" plans to present a gas chemical strategy next year, the parameters of which are not yet known. This strategy will be included in the next ten-year program of the company.
