OOO LUKOIL-Technologies has created a virtual infrastructure for the LUKOIL Group

As part of the Information Strategy program of the LUKOIL Group a project was implemented to create a Common Information Space (SIS), covering all business segments of the company from hydrocarbon production to the sale of finished products. Previously, IT infrastructure resources were scattered across multiple sites. During the formation of the UIP, the specialists of OOO "LUKOIL-Technologies" the regional IT infrastructure of PJSC "LUKOIL" was changed, an integral mechanism for monitoring and operational management was created. This is one of the largest projects implemented by the enterprise in 2019.
The new virtual infrastructure consists of corporate Data Processing Centers (DPCs) and 8 territorial distribution points of connection, interconnected by backbone communication channels, forming a private virtual cloud of the company. The transition to the new architecture has greatly simplified and optimized some of the computational operations, and provided users with the opportunity to work remotely with data. The project ensured the integrity and security of corporate data. As part of the project, the company's mail system was updated, large-scale work was carried out to modernize equipment, and a number of solutions were introduced that allow communicating and exchanging data in real time. A centralized system for remote access to applications was set up to ensure comfortable work for more than 35,000 users.
