The largest oilfield services company Schlumberger becomes unprofitable

The loss of the world's largest oilfield services company Schlumberger in the third quarter of 2019 amounted to $11.383 billion. In the same period last year, Schlumberger showed a profit. In the first nine months of 2019, Schlumberger's revenue was $24.689 billion.

In 2015, Schlumberger paid a hefty fine for violating sanctions on Iran and Sudan. In 2015, Schlumberger acquired Cameron International, a major American manufacturer of blowout preventers.
The situation with Schlumberger's work in the Russian market will be reviewed on October 30 in Moscow at the conference "Neftegazservice-2019".
