First Vice President of PJSC "Rosneft" Eric Liron at the annual V Conference of the company "Technologies in the field of exploration and production" said: "Over the past five years, the company's drilling activity has more than doubled. Strategy “Rosneft-2022” involves the development of the resource base and increasing the efficiency of its development. At the stage of drilling wells, more complex downhole and surface equipment is used. It became possible to accompany the drilling process online at a distance, thanks to the technology of digital twins. At 10 Rosneft stations there is remote expert support for all drilling processes. Monitoring with an analytical forecast to prevent emergency situations and predict the time of planned technical operations operates on almost all heavy drilling rigs.
The first Russian digital hydraulic fracturing modeling complex (RN-GRID), which was created in 2017, is already performed more than 6,500 successful hydraulic fracturing simulations. Over the years, the unique software package of "Rosneft" became the first Russian product in this field with world-class performance.
