Rosseti Siberia will complete the design of Digital Distribution Zones by the end of the year

As part of the strategy of PJSC "Rosseti" for the digitalization of the Russian power grid complex, Rosseti Siberia implements pilot projects "Digital District of Electric Grids"; in the territories of the Altai, Trans-Baikal, Krasnoyarsk Territories, the Republics of Khakassia, Buryatia, Altai, Omsk and Kemerovo Regions. 2021 By the end of 2019, the design work will be fully completed. In 2020—2021, it is planned to build and reconstruct electrical networks and install equipment. As part of the implementation of the project "Digital Distribution Zone" it is planned to introduce and further use the Russian software « Astra Linux", which provides a comprehensive solution for both user tasks (operating system, office software package) and solving system problems (database management system, mail system).

Digital RES — it is an area of ​​electrical networks that has a distribution network with a high level of automation, providing real-time network observability, allowing the implementation of self-diagnostics and self-healing functions, as well as smart electricity metering. The project provides for the installation of distributed automation of a 6 × 10 kV network in eight distribution zones, implemented through the installation of switching devices (recloser, remotely controlled load switches and disconnectors) and monitoring tools (short circuit indicators, commercial metering points with a short circuit indicator function), as well as an integrated energy monitoring system implemented through the installation of commercial metering devices and technical metering devices combined with a telemetry function. Distributed automation in a 6x10 kV network will allow selective detection and localization of only damaged sections of the network, leaving the intact ones in operation to the maximum. This task is performed by controlled switching devices with remote control and data transmission over a distributed network of intelligent sensors that identify various events and transmit information to the dispatcher.
