Novokuibyshevsk Refinery launched a new jet fuel production unit

The Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery, which is part of the oil refinery complex of PJSC NK Rosneft, has begun trial operation of a new unit for the production of RT brand jet fuel. The plant is equipped with an automated process control system and meets strict environmental and industrial safety requirements. RT brand jet fuel will be produced using the technology of mixing kerosene fraction with anti-wear components that improve the performance properties of the fuel. New installation — one of the key facilities of the hydrocracking complex, the construction of which is carried out within the framework of the program of PJSC NK Rosneft; for the modernization of oil refining capacities. The commissioning of new production facilities will make it possible to produce commercial fuel of the RT brand in the amount of more than 1 million tons per year.
