Exploitation of an oil deposit began at the Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye field

OOO Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk started pilot production of oil deposits at the Zapadno-Tarkosalinsky gas field (ZTGP). This is a new experience for the mining division of the company and for the enterprise as a whole. Since before, only gas and gas condensate were extracted from the subsoil at the Yamal fields. Six years later, production of gas and gas condensate from the Lower Cretaceous deposits began. Currently, within the framework of the project for the development of the oil field, one more well is being drilled and the third well pad is being backfilled. Completion of work is planned for next year. By that time, well pads with oil wells will have been built at the Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye field, a network of communications has been created, including oil-gathering plumes, roads, and power lines. The production infrastructure will include a mobile oil treatment unit (OTP) and a loading rack for offloading oil to vehicles, as well as a gas pipeline for transporting associated petroleum gas from the MTPF to the integrated gas treatment unit.
