Reconstruction of Minnibayevsky GPP to be completed in 2023

Tatneft Company will invest more than 16 billion rubles in the modernization of the Minnibayevsky gas processing plant, which processes associated gas produced at the company's fields. The reconstruction of the Minnibayevsky GPP has been carried out continuously since 2002, when it became part of the Tatneft structure. The modernization project is designed until 2023.
Since 2014, the compressor unit has been modernized, which compresses all associated petroleum gas produced by the company. Large-scale work is carried out in the conditions of existing production. The total volume of investments in the project is estimated at 3.5 billion rubles, about 2.4 billion rubles have already been spent. Completion of the reconstruction of the unit is scheduled for 2021.
Also, the plant is reconstructing the cryogenic unit, which was put into operation in 2012. It allows you to select ethane from petroleum gas. Modernization of the installation will allow to select helium and methane, which are now emitted into the atmosphere. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2023. As a result of the modernization of the Minnibayevskiy GPP, atmospheric emissions of pollutants will be reduced by 59%.
At the same time, the flare facilities of the Minnibayevskiy GPP are being upgraded. The existing flare system, which has been in operation for over 30 years, will be completely dismantled and new equipment will be installed. As a result, the reliability of all processes will increase, the main part of the gases will be returned to the technological cycle of the enterprise, emissions will be reduced by more than 1.9 thousand tons per year. The launch of the system is scheduled for 2020.
In addition to the modernization program, it is planned to implement a new investment project for the production of maleic anhydride at the Minnibaevsky GPP. Now this substance is not produced in Russia. The raw material for the production of maleic anhydride will be butane, which is currently shipped in tanks to consumers. The plant with an area of ​​7 hectares will be located within the existing boundaries of the Minnibaevsky GPP. Production is planned to be organized according to the technology of the Italian company Conser. Investments are estimated at more than 6 billion rubles.
