Denis Manturov noted the importance of certification of oil and gas equipment for deliveries to the Middle East

Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirates Commission spoke about cooperation in the production and supply of oil and gas equipment. “Given the status of our countries as world leaders in the oil and gas sector, we must support joint projects in an area that is significant for the economy. This, in particular, is facilitated by the presence in Dubai of representative offices of our companies LUKOIL and Gazprom Neft.
I cannot fail to note the success of Russia in the field of extraction and deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials. Our enterprises must be ready to offer complex solutions for the energy companies of the Arab Emirates. To develop a dialogue in this direction, last month agreements were reached on the establishment of a joint working group on the certification of mining equipment. In addition to specialists from Russia and the United Arab Emirates, we will involve international experts in its activities. This will make it possible to remove barriers to certifying products according to the standards of third countries, the minister informed.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia believes that our country has a good potential for the supply of Russian oil and gas equipment, in which Emirati partners, including the state oil company ADNOC, are interested.
