LLC "SIBUR-Kstovo" creates a new closed-type flare system

SIBUR-Kstovo the project for the reconstruction of the flare system was launched. The project consists of two stages: technical re-equipment with the replacement of the head on the existing mast flare and reconstruction with the creation of a new closed-type flare system. These technical solutions will ensure soot-free combustion at the main site of the enterprise. The first stage is planned to be completed in 2020, and the second in 2021. It is planned to carry out the necessary tie-ins into the existing scheme of the plant during the scheduled shutdown repair in 2020. This will make it possible to complete the technical re-equipment of the flare unit and minimize the number of hours of soot burning by diluting the combusted flow with steam.
Currently, a general contractor has been selected for design and survey work and the supply of the main technological equipment. The development of working documentation has begun, followed by an industrial safety review, state environmental review and the main state review. At the same time, the supply of equipment for the stage of technical re-equipment begins.
