Syzran oil refinery has implemented an artificial intelligence system

The Syzran Oil Refinery, which is part of the Rosneft Oil Company, has put into operation an advanced process control system (SUUTP) at the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining unit.
SUUTP is an artificial intelligence system that, based on the initial data, promptly makes appropriate adjustments to the process control, i.e. — optimizes the entire oil refining process as much as possible. By increasing the output of diesel fuel, the economic effect of the introduction of the SUUTP amounted to 232 million rubles.
Similar systems are used at other oil refineries of Rosneft. The overall economic effect of their work exceeds 1.4 billion rubles. More than 50 subsidiaries of the company are expected to introduce the new system in the near future.
