Schlumberger decided to supply electric centrifugal pumps from Russia to Azerbaijan
27.09.2019
During the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Tyumen, it became known about the upcoming deliveries of electric submersible borehole pumps and spare parts for them to Azerbaijan. We are talking about pumps that are manufactured at the Schlumberger plant in the Tyumen region. The plant, called "Tyumen pumps" Schlumberger ", began its activity in Tyumen in 2005. From the very first days of the enterprise's existence, the administration of the Tyumen region has provided great support to its work. Largely due to the effective interaction between the management of the plant and local authorities, it was possible to launch the plant in a short time and establish a dynamically developing production. Among the consumers of the plant's products are the largest representatives of the Russian oil and gas industry. However, the enterprise is not limited to deliveries only to the Russian market. Already today, the products of the Schlumberger Tyumen pumps plant is operated in many countries of the world.
Reference
ESP (ESP Unit, Electric Centrifugal Pump Unit) ESP refers to submersible rodless pumping units. The ESP equipment consists of a submersible part, which is lowered into the well vertically on the tubing string, and a surface part connected to each other by a submersible power cable.
The submersible part of the ESP equipment is a pumping unit, vertically lowered into the well on the tubing string, consisting of a SEM (submersible electric motor), a hydraulic protection unit, a liquid intake module, the ESP itself, a check valve, a bleed (drainage) valve. The housings of all units of the submersible part of the ESP are pipes with flange connections for articulation with each other, with the exception of the check and drain valves, which are screwed to the tubing with a thread. The length of the submersible part when assembled can reach more than 50 meters. A part of the submersible equipment is also a submersible armored three-core cable, the length of which directly depends on the depth of the descent of the submersible part of the ESP. The module-section of the pump consists of a casing, a shaft, a package of stages (impellers and guide vanes), upper and lower radial bearings, an axial support, a head, and a base. Shaft step package, radial bearings and an axial support are placed in the housing and clamped with end pieces. The versions of the pumps differ in the materials of the working bodies, body parts, friction pairs, the design and the number of radial bearings.
Electric centrifugal submersible pumps have been rated under Oil and gas supplier rating.
