Equipment for liquefied natural gas was manufactured in Podolsk for the first time in Russia

PJSC "ZiO-Podolsk" (part of the machine-building division of the State Corporation "Rosatom" - JSC "Atomenergomash") by order of PJSC "NOVATEK" manufactured and shipped coiled heat exchangers for low-temperature gas processing. The new heat exchangers are designed to operate within the framework of the Yamal LNG project. in the village of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula. The heat exchangers will serve as the basis for a natural gas liquefaction complex with a capacity of up to a million tons of LNG per year. This is a Russian development of the Arctic Cascade gas liquefaction technology. It was developed on the instructions of PJSC NOVATEK.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian technology for liquefying natural gas Arctic Cascade» recognized as the winner of the National Ecological Prize named after V.I. Vernadsky in the nomination "Innovative eco-efficient technologies in industry and energy". Developed and patented by PAO «NOVATEK» natural gas liquefaction technology "Arctic Cascade" provides high performance while reducing energy consumption and reducing capital costs. The technology is designed for the use of equipment from Russian manufacturers.
