In two years, kerosene production at the Moscow Oil Refinery will be doubled
26.09.2019
After commissioning the Euro+ Combined Oil Processing Unit in 2021, Gazprom Neft will be able to double the output of kerosene at the Moscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ) and increase the selection of light oil products up to 60 percent. If the market requires it, it is also possible to produce gasoline with an octane rating of 100.
Now the plant satisfies 35-40 percent of the demand of the capital region in gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel.
Reference
Moscow Oil Refinery (JSC «Gazpromneft-MNPZ») — oil refinery company Gazprom Neft — is one of the largest oil refineries in the country in terms of oil refining volumes. The plant provides more than a third of the fuel market of the capital region, supplying, among other things, the Moscow air hub.
Since 2011, a comprehensive modernization of the Moscow Oil Refinery has been underway with a total cost of more than 250 billion rubles. The plant consistently gets rid of obsolete production facilities and actively introduces modern industrial complexes.
