About 10 billion rubles will be allocated for the modernization of the state district power plant and thermal power plant in the Perm Territory

The Government of the Russian Federation will allocate about 10 billion rubles for the modernization of the state district power station and thermal power plant in the Perm Territory.
At the state district power plant, the 1st power unit will be upgraded, the steam turbine and the boiler superheater will be replaced.
At CHPP No. 9, steam turbines and boiler units of 2 turbogenerators will be replaced with equipment of greater capacity.

The power plant is a major electricity producer in the Urals and one of the main suppliers of electricity to the Ural and Volga regions of the Russian Federation.
Perm CHPP-9 — thermal power plant located in the Industrial district of Perm. CHPP-9 is part of PJSC "T Plus". At present, 8 generators with a total electrical capacity of 575 MW are in operation.
