Shchekinoazot starts construction of a methanol complex

"Shchekinoazot" continues to clean up the territory of the new M-500 methanol production complex.

From the message of the company it became known that the general contractor is "NefteZavodMontazh" and the cost of dismantling buildings and structures amounted to more than 13.8 million rubles.

"Shchekinoazot" — one of the leaders in the production of chemical equipment and industrial chemicals: caprolactam, ammonium sulfate, household chemicals, etc.

"Installation Methanol M-500" — Shchekinoazot investment project, which is expected to be launched in mid-2022.

The methanol plant will be distinguished by modern purification of emissions from nitrogen oxides, reduction of energy consumption and raw material consumption.

The total investment in the project amounted to 22 billion rubles, including investments by Gazprombank — 10 billion rubles, and VEB — 4.5 billion rubles.
