The total cost of construction — 144.2 billion rubles, of which the state will provide 103.6 billion rubles for federal infrastructure in 2019-2022. The authenticity of the decision was confirmed by "Kommersant" in Dmitry Medvedev's office. "Arktik LNG-2" should become the largest LNG project in Russia and is designed to provide more than a quarter of the planned loading of the Northern Sea Route by 2024 of 80 million tons.
The document also mentions that already in 2019, work should be carried out on the construction of an approach channel in the water area of ​​the port of Sabetta (the Utrenny terminal is considered part of the port), and funds have been allocated for navigation equipment — it is necessary to ensure the approach of the icebreaker fleet and cargo ships to the existing pier.
