In Tatarstan, oil industry forecasts will be adjusted in the direction of increasing production and refining

In Tatarstan, by 2030, 39.3 million tons of oil should be produced, and processed – 24 million tons. IA Devon learned about this from the explanatory note of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan to the draft law on amendments to the Development Strategy for the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030. In the current version of the Strategy, adopted in 2015, the expected level of oil production in 15 years was to be 33 million tons.

At the same time, it is expected that in 2025 42.1 million tons of oil will be produced in the republic, and – 20.2 million tons. The depth of oil refining by 2020 in Tatarstan will be the same 95%.

The document sets the following targets for development drilling by 2030 – 864 thousand instead of 701 thousand meters per year. In 2020, drilling should reach a peak of 1744 meters, then a sharp reduction in penetration is expected.

At the same time, plans for exploration drilling – from 55 thousand to 18 thousand meters per year. This indicator was planned to be kept at the level of 55 thousand meters per year in 2020-2030. However, now, starting from 2020, it is planned to gradually reduce the penetration from 26 thousand meters.

The strategy for the development of the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period renewal of the mineral resource base, oil refining, gas industry and energy. On July 10, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan submitted to the State Council of the Republic a new version of the Strategy for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex until 2030. The document was signed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in June 2015.
