22.07.2019
Angarsk petrochemical company, part of the Rosneft oil refinery complex, increased the production of road grades of bitumen for the repair and construction of roads in Eastern Siberia by 23% in the first half of 2019.
In the second quarter of 2019, the plant that produces the main component of the asphalt pavement reached a record level of production. For three months, ANHK produced 97 thousand tons of bitumen, producing about 55 tons of oil bitumen per hour. By the end of 2019, the company plans to produce over 180 thousand tons of bitumen, which is 16% more than last year.
The production of road bitumen is carried out within the framework of the interstate standard GOST 33133-2014, which determines the increased requirements for the performance of the bituminous binder. Bitumen produced by ANHK is sold by a specialized subsidiary LLC "RN-Bitum" to the markets of Siberia, the Far East and Mongolia.
Currently, the enterprise is implementing an automated system for loading bitumen into tankers, which includes a new tank farm, a modern operator room, a water supply system, as well as four stationary loading stations.
