Anatoly Sorokin has been appointed General Director of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf. Reference: Anatoly Sorokin was born in 1960 in the Orenburg region. In 1983 he graduated from the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute with a degree in technology and complex mechanization of the development of oil and gas fields. In 1983-1993 and in 1994-1998 he worked in the Kholmogorneft oil and gas production department of Noyabrskneftegaz OJSC. Worked his way up from oil and gas production operator to deputy head of production. In 1993-1994, he was the chief engineer of the NGDU Barsukovneft of OAO Purneftegaz. He has been working in the structure of Gazprom for 15 years. In 1998-2011 - Lead Engineer of the Production Department for Gas Production, Head of the Vyngayakhinskoye gas field,
