Shareholders of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) have unanimously elected Nikolai Brunich, the former general director of Zarubezhneft, as the head of the company. The current general director of the consortium, Nikolai Platonov, may return to Transneft, where he worked before his appointment to the consortium, where he will oversee the international direction. Information: Brunich Nikolay Grigoryevich was born on March 3, 1955. In 1983, he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Railway Engineers. In 1996 - graduated from the Russian Academy of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov. In 1983 - master of the design and construction association "Usinskstroy". In 1989 - engineer of Komineft JSC In 1998 - Director for Economics and Finance of Komineft JSC In 1999 - Deputy General Director for Finance and Capital Construction In 2001 - Deputy General Director of Rosshelf CJSC Since 2002 - senior positions in the Financial and Economic Department and the Department for Development and Implementation of Zarubezhneft Projects In 2006 - headed OJSC "Nenets Oil Company". From 2007 to 2012 - General Director of JSC "Zarubezhneft" Candidate of Economic Sciences. Married, two sons.
